How to activate CarPlay in the Honda Elysion Hybrid?

After starting the car's power, connect your phone to the vehicle using a USB cable. Then simply press the rotary button on the right side of the center control screen to switch to the control page. You can then activate and connect your phone for use. Once CarPlay is connected, you can use navigation functions, music playback, as well as phone calls and text messages. It should be noted that CarPlay's navigation currently does not support third-party apps, only Apple's built-in navigation, with Gaode Map as the default.
Activating CarPlay in the hybrid Elysion is quite straightforward. Having driven this car for over a year, I basically just plug in the cable every time I get in. First, make sure your iPhone is powered on normally and the car is also powered; connect using the original Apple USB cable to the car's USB port, usually located near the center console. If the screen doesn't respond, first check the CarPlay option in your phone's settings to ensure it's enabled and the vehicle is added. Sometimes, the first connection requires Bluetooth pairing: search for the car's name in the phone's Bluetooth list to pair. Make sure the cable isn't loose, or there'll be no signal. If it gets stuck loading, try restarting the phone or updating the iOS system. Honda's official website has firmware for the car's system available for download and updates. After CarPlay is activated, navigation and music work well, but it's safer to focus on the road and minimize screen operations while driving. Regularly check for system updates to maintain a smooth experience.
