Activating ACC Adaptive Cruise Control: Press the cruise activation button, and the white cruise control indicator light on the combination meter will illuminate; reach the desired speed; briefly push the thumbwheel down to SET- to activate cruise control, then push up SET+ or down SET- again to increase or decrease the set speed; remove your foot from the accelerator pedal. Additional details are as follows: 1. Setting the following distance: Each time the ignition switch is turned on, the default following time interval is 1.9 seconds. The following time intervals are divided into three levels: 1.0 seconds, 1.5 seconds, and 1.9 seconds. You can decrease or increase the distance between your vehicle and the vehicle ahead by pressing the decrease or increase following distance button. 2. Accelerating while using adaptive cruise control: If the cruise control system is already activated and you wish to accelerate, briefly roll the button toward RES/+ and then release it. When the actual speed is between 30km/h and 80km/h, each press of the acceleration button increases the desired speed by 5km/h. When the actual speed is between 80km/h and 150km/h, each press increases the desired speed by 10km/h. 3. Overtaking: In cruise mode, if you need to overtake, press the accelerator pedal to activate the overtaking mode. Release the accelerator pedal to return to the cruise speed.
