According to the latest regulations, new cars within six years are exempt from inspection, and the requirement for stamping on the vehicle registration certificate has been canceled. You only need to obtain an exemption inspection label. According to Article 95 of the Road Traffic Safety Law, vehicles without an inspection label, compulsory traffic insurance label, license plate, driver's license, or vehicle registration certificate can be impounded. A fine of 20-200 yuan will be imposed, and 1 point will be deducted from the driver's license. According to the 2019 vehicle inspection regulations, new cars are exempt from inspection for six years. If your car falls within the 6-year exemption range, there is another prerequisite: only vehicles meeting the following criteria can be exempt from inspection; otherwise, they must undergo on-site inspection: vehicles that have not been involved in accidents causing casualties; vehicles that have not been penalized for illegal modifications; and vehicles registered within 4 years from the date of manufacture. For vehicles that meet all the criteria, you can apply for an inspection exemption label every two years within the six-year period, specifically in the 2nd and 4th years.
