According to the relevant provisions of the "Regulations for the Implementation of the Road Traffic Safety Law", Article 16: Motor vehicles shall undergo safety technical inspections according to the following periods from the date of registration: 1. For passenger transport vehicles, an annual inspection is required within the first 5 years; after 5 years, an inspection every 6 months is required. 2. For trucks and large or medium-sized non-passenger transport vehicles, an annual inspection is required within the first 10 years; after 10 years, an inspection every 6 months is required. 3. For small and mini non-passenger transport vehicles, an inspection every 2 years is required within the first 6 years; after 6 years, an annual inspection is required; after 15 years, an inspection every 6 months is required. 4. Motorcycles within the first 6 years are exempt from inspections at inspection institutions; when periodic inspection is required, the vehicle owner can directly apply for the inspection compliance mark at the traffic management department of the public security authority. 5. Tractors and other motor vehicles require an annual inspection. If a commercial motor vehicle passes the safety technical inspection within the specified inspection period, it does not need to undergo repeated safety technical inspections. 6. Vehicles that have exceeded the scrapping age cannot be transferred (sold or bought), but can continue to be used; for sales, the vehicle owner can first apply for the vehicle's scrapping certificate (canceling the vehicle's record) at the vehicle management office, and then proceed with the sale.

I just bought my SUV last year, and the annual inspection process is quite straightforward: For the first 6 years, new vehicles don’t need to go to an offline inspection station. Instead, you only need to apply for an electronic inspection label every 2 years via a mobile app—completely exempt from on-site checks, saving both time and fuel costs. My car is only in its second year, so I followed the prompts on the 12123 App and got it done in just a few minutes. However, note that between 6-10 years, you’ll need to take your car in for an inspection every 2 years to check for aging issues like lights and brakes. For cars over 10 years old, the risk is higher, so an annual inspection is mandatory. My friend’s older car was overdue last year, resulting in a 200-yuan fine and demerit points—definitely not worth it. So, regularly checking for traffic violations, bringing your insurance policy and vehicle license, and booking a weekend morning slot to avoid long queues are must-dos. Annual inspections aren’t just about saving money—they’re crucial for family safety. I’d advise new car owners to mark the dates early and not take it lightly.

I've been in auto repair for over a decade. Vehicle inspection frequency follows a three-tier system based on vehicle age: Newly registered vehicles under 6 years are exempt from on-site inspections but require biennial label issuance; vehicles aged 6-10 years need biennial physical inspections focusing on chassis and emission systems; vehicles over 10 years must undergo annual inspections with emphasis on brake and steering wear. This is because aging components are prone to failure - annual checks help detect issues early (e.g., lighting malfunctions or loose wheel bearings) to prevent accidents. Don't wait until the deadline as testing stations get crowded; just bring your vehicle license and compulsory insurance documents. The cost is reasonable (about 100 yuan per inspection), but late fees double and pose risks. Safety always comes first - timely inspections ensure longer, safer vehicle operation.

What are the reasons for the delayed intake camshaft position in the Roewe 350?

The delayed intake camshaft position in the Roewe 350 may be caused by a stuck oil pressure control valve (OCV), mechanical jamming of the CVVT actuator gear, wear of the oil pump, stuck oil pump pressure regulating valve or system blockage, incorrect timing belt or chain alignment, or abnormal current in the VVT control circuit. Here are detailed introductions about the Roewe 350: Overview: The Roewe 350 is a compact sedan positioned in the A-segment market launched by SAIC Motor following the Roewe 750 and Roewe 550. It is also the first Roewe family car to incorporate 3G technology. Powertrain: Utilizing new technologies, the chassis, engine, transmission, and other components have been optimized and improved, achieving a fuel consumption of 6.9L. The 1.5L engine, in combination with the MHI turbocharger, can instantly deliver power performance comparable to a conventional 2.0L engine.

What car brand is SRS?

SRS is not a car brand; it refers to the Supplemental Restraint System (airbag system). Parts of a car equipped with airbags will have an SRS label. Here is an introduction: Components of the SRS: The system consists of airbag sensors, impact airbags, electronic control units, and other components. The driver-side impact airbag is installed in the steering wheel, while the passenger-side impact airbag is usually mounted on the dashboard. Airbag sensors are installed on the left, right, and center of the cabin partition. The central airbag sensor and the SRS are integrated with the electronic control unit. How the SRS works: When a collision occurs while driving, the airbag sensors first receive the impact signal. If the impact reaches a specified intensity, the sensors activate and send a signal to the electronic control unit. Upon receiving the signal, the electronic control unit compares it with stored data. If the conditions for airbag deployment are met, the drive circuit sends an activation signal to the gas generator in the airbag module.

What is the correct position for rearview mirrors?

The correct position for car rearview mirrors does not have a rigid standard. Every driver has different habits, and generally adjusts the mirrors based on feeling. In reality, there are certain rules for adjusting rearview mirrors. The following points should be noted during adjustment: 1. To properly adjust the three rearview mirrors, first adjust your seating position, then proceed to adjust the mirror surfaces. 2. For the interior rearview mirror, adjust the left and right positions so that the left edge of the mirror just cuts off the right ear of your reflection. This means that under normal driving conditions, you cannot see yourself in the interior rearview mirror. For the up and down positions, place the distant horizon in the center of the mirror. 3. For the left side mirror, adjust the up and down positions to place the distant horizon in the center. The left and right positions should be adjusted so that the car body occupies 1/4 of the mirror area. 4. For the right side mirror, since the driver's seat is on the left, it is not as easy for the driver to gauge the right side of the car body. Additionally, due to the need for roadside parking, the ground should occupy a larger portion of the mirror when adjusting the up and down positions, about 2/3 of the mirror area. The left and right positions should similarly be adjusted so that the car body occupies 1/4 of the area.

What Are the Common Types of Transmissions?

Common types of transmissions include manual transmissions and automatic transmissions. Automatic transmissions can be further divided into CVT transmissions, AT transmissions, AMT transmissions, and dual-clutch transmissions. The main functions of a transmission in a car are to amplify torque, adjust speed, enable reverse driving, and interrupt power. Below is an introduction to CVT transmissions, AT transmissions, AMT transmissions, and dual-clutch transmissions: 1. AT Transmission: Officially known as a hydraulic automatic transmission, it has evolved from early 4AT transmissions to the current 9AT transmissions. The advantages of AT transmissions are obvious, providing more direct power. 2. CVT Transmission: Officially known as a continuously variable transmission, it is primarily represented by Japanese car models, with brands like Honda and Nissan mostly using CVT transmissions. The characteristics of CVT transmissions are evident. Since the gear ratio is not a discrete point but a series of continuous values, it offers excellent smoothness and outstanding fuel economy. 3. AMT Transmission: Short for automated manual transmission, AMT transmissions are a compromise between MT and AT transmissions. Their advantage is lower production costs, and they are more convenient to operate compared to manual transmissions. 4. Dual-Clutch Transmission (DCT): As the name suggests, it uses two sets of clutches that alternate to achieve seamless gear shifting. It is further divided into dry dual-clutch and wet dual-clutch transmissions. Dual-clutch transmissions feature fast gear shifting, minimal power loss during shifts, and good fuel economy.

What causes the brake noise in Audi Q5?

Audi Q5's brake noise may be caused by the following reasons: 1. Use of low-quality or overly hard brake pads: If inferior or excessively hard brake pads are used, they may produce a squeaking sound when rubbing against the brake discs during braking. 2. Presence of sand or foreign objects between the brake pads and discs: Due to the unique design of disc brakes, some sand or foreign objects may inevitably get between the brake pads and discs, causing noise during braking. 3. Severe wear of brake pads: If the brake pads have not been replaced for a long time and their wear reaches the warning line, they will emit a squeaking alarm sound, indicating the need for replacement.
