How often should the urea filter be replaced?

Urea filters are generally replaced every 50,000 to 60,000 kilometers. The following are the reasons that can cause urea system blockage: 1. Use of inferior urea: Impurities in inferior automotive urea can cause crystallization in the exhaust pipe, forming solid blocks that clog the exhaust pipe and even damage the engine. 2. Poor atomization effect or failure of the nozzle: The post-treatment SCR system can be divided into two types: air-assisted and non-air-assisted. Generally, non-air-assisted urea injection operates at relatively high pressure, which may lead to incomplete closure of the nozzle valve needle, causing it to operate during low exhaust temperature phases when it shouldn't. This results in urea not being hydrolyzed at high temperatures, leading to rapid crystallization.
