If the belt damage is not caused by the pulley, or there is no obvious abnormality on the surface where the pulley and belt rub against each other, then there is no need to replace the pulley. Belt replacement interval for motorcycles: Under normal circumstances, the belt of a motorcycle should be replaced every 30,000 kilometers. Steps to replace the motorcycle belt: 1. Remove the kick starter: Use a tool to unscrew the bolt on the kick starter, then pull out the kick starter. 2. Remove the belt cover: Use a tool to unscrew the 8 bolts on the belt cover and gently tap the belt cover with a wooden hammer. Take out the belt cover. 3. Remove the drive pulley: Use an impact wrench to remove the drive pulley nut and take out the drive pulley. 4. Remove the clutch: Use an impact wrench to remove the clutch nut and take out the clutch. 5. Install the drive pulley: Install the drive pulley but do not tighten the nut yet.
