How often should the BMW cabin air filter be replaced?

BMW cabin air filters should be replaced every two years. The replacement method is as follows: 1. Open the glove compartment cover on the passenger side; 2. Press the fixing buckle of the cover and pull it outward firmly; 3. After removing the rear cover, take out the entire glove compartment to expose the cabin air filter; 4. Pull out the old cabin air filter outward for replacement. Functions of the cabin air filter: 1. Ensures the filter fits tightly against the housing to prevent unfiltered air from entering the cabin; 2. Separates dust, pollen, and solid particles from the air; 3. Adsorbs moisture, soot, ozone, odors, and carbon oxides from the air; 4. Prevents condensation on car windows, maintaining clear visibility for drivers and passengers; 5. Ensures clean air in the passenger compartment, preventing bacterial growth and creating a healthy environment.
