How often should a private car generally have its refrigerant recharged?

For average-performance cars, the refrigerant recharge cycle is shorter, typically requiring a recharge within two years. High-performance vehicles have a longer recharge cycle, often needing a recharge only after eight years. Below are some precautions for car refrigerant recharge: Before recharging: It is necessary to use a pressure vacuum machine to pressurize and check for leaks. If any leaks are found, components of the air conditioning system such as the air conditioning pipe joints, condenser, evaporator, compressor, etc., should be inspected by spraying foam water. Any detected leaks should be repaired or replaced. Vacuuming: It is essential to vacuum for at least half an hour to prevent water vapor from remaining in the pipes. Connect the refrigerant gauge to the air conditioning system and vacuum, focusing on the low-pressure side. Generally, there's no need to monitor the negative pressure value during vacuuming; three minutes is sufficient. After this, tighten the switch on the low-pressure gauge and connect the refrigerant tank for filling.
