How often should a minivan be inspected?

It depends on the vehicle's usage nature (commercial or non-commercial) and is determined according to the Ministry of Public Security Order No. 104. Below are relevant details about vehicle inspection: 1. Non-commercial passenger cars: Including non-commercial passenger cars, non-commercial small and mini passenger vehicles can enjoy a 6-year exemption from annual inspection policy. However, minivans and models with 7 seats or more are not eligible for this exemption. Eligible private cars registered after September 2012 can enjoy the exemption policy and require annual inspection thereafter. Vehicles aged 6 to 15 years must undergo one online inspection per year, while those over 15 years old require semi-annual online inspections. 2. Handling overdue situations: Although new vehicles within six years do not need online annual inspections, owners must still provide proof of compulsory traffic accident liability insurance, tax payment or exemption certificates for vehicle and vessel tax, and after settling traffic violations and accidents, they can directly apply to the traffic management department for the inspection label. Overdue cases will incur additional fines.
