Small car driver's licenses are inspected every six years. Legal basis: Article 56 of the "Regulations on the Application and Use of Motor Vehicle Driver's Licenses"; If the motor vehicle driver has not accumulated 12 penalty points in any scoring cycle during the six-year validity period of the motor vehicle driver's license, a motor vehicle driver's license with a ten-year validity period shall be reissued; if the motor vehicle driver has not accumulated 12 penalty points in any scoring cycle during the ten-year validity period of the motor vehicle driver's license, a motor vehicle driver's license with long-term validity shall be reissued. Notes on driver's license annual inspection: No annual inspection is required during the six-year validity period of the driver's license. The driver should apply for a replacement at the traffic police branch under their jurisdiction within 90 days before the expiration of the validity period; drivers holding A, B, N, and P licenses, although no longer required to undergo annual inspections during the validity period, should go to the vehicle management section of the traffic police branch under their jurisdiction within 15 days of the original annual inspection deadline to obtain the "Motor Vehicle Driver's License Application Form", fill it out as required, attach a photo, undergo a physical examination at the hospital, and then submit the application form back to the vehicle management section for computer confirmation.

When I used to run a ride-hailing service, I specifically researched this topic. There is no annual review requirement for regular car driver's licenses now. For our ordinary C1 and C2 licenses, the validity periods are divided into three types: 6 years, 10 years, and long-term. Just go to the DMV for a physical exam and license renewal within 90 days before expiration, bringing photos and your ID card, and pay a small processing fee of a few dozen yuan. Special attention: drivers over 60 years old must submit an annual physical exam certificate, otherwise the system will automatically downgrade their license. Last time I renewed my license, I met an uncle who almost couldn't drive his grandson to school because he forgot his physical exam. Also, if you accumulate 12 penalty points or are involved in a major accident, traffic police may require you to attend a refresher course, which can be considered an indirect review. Driving safety should always come first—don't wait for a review to pay attention to these issues.

What is the keyout fault?

When the keyout indicator appears on the car dashboard, it means the vehicle is reminding the driver that the smart key is not inside the car or is out of the effective range. More information about keyout is as follows: 1. The keyout indicator is commonly seen in Korean-made cars. When the dashboard displays the keyout light, it usually indicates that the smart key is not inside the vehicle or is outside the effective range. If the smart key is inside the car, it might be due to insufficient battery power in the key, causing the signal to be too weak to be detected. 2. Additionally, there could be damage or malfunction in the smart key system or wireless module. Another possibility is a system false alarm; try turning off the engine and restarting it.

How to Change the Car Mileage Display from Miles to Kilometers?

The car mileage display cannot be changed from miles to kilometers. More information about the car odometer is as follows: 1. The car odometer indicates the speed of the car, measured in km/h (kilometers per hour). The car odometer actually consists of two meters: one is the speedometer, and the other is the odometer. The car odometer is generally located directly in front of the driver's position. 2. The car odometer also includes two LCD digital display windows connected to the same signal source, which respectively accumulate the trip mileage and the total mileage. The trip mileage usually has four digits for short-term counting and can be reset; the total mileage has six digits and cannot be reset.

What does GTDi mean?

GTDi is a gasoline engine equipped with direct injection and turbocharging technology. 1. A gasoline engine (Gasoline-Engine) is an engine that uses gasoline as fuel to convert internal energy into kinetic energy. Due to the low viscosity and rapid evaporation of gasoline, a fuel injection system can be used to inject gasoline into the cylinder. After compression reaches a certain temperature and pressure, the spark plug ignites it, causing the gas to expand and perform work. 2. Gasoline engines are characterized by high speed, simple structure, light weight, low cost, smooth operation, and convenient maintenance. Gasoline engines are widely used in automobiles, especially in small cars.

What does OBD mean in a car?

OBD refers to the On-Board Diagnostics system. More information about OBD is as follows: 1. OBD stands for On-Board Diagnostics, which translates to a detection system extended for automotive fault diagnosis. 2. The OBD system continuously monitors the vehicle's exhaust emissions during engine operation. If emissions exceed the standard, it will immediately issue a warning. When a system failure occurs, the Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL) or Check Engine warning light will illuminate, and the Powertrain Control Module (PCM) will store the fault information in memory. The fault code can be read from the PCM through a specific procedure. Based on the fault code, maintenance personnel can quickly and accurately determine the nature and location of the fault.

Difference Between Semi-Slick and Full-Slick Tires?

Semi-slick and full-slick tires differ as follows: 1. Different properties. Full-slick tires melt into a gel-like state when friction with the road surface raises their temperature during use, providing excellent grip for the vehicle. Semi-slick tires can approach the grip of full-slick tires when heated, with wear remaining within controlled limits. 2. Different grip levels. Semi-slick tires soften their tread upon reaching operating temperature, generating high adhesion to enhance grip. They feature more advanced tread patterns that maintain drainage efficiency comparable to regular tires despite reduced tread grooves. Full-slick tires transform into a gel state at surface temperatures of 90°C, significantly improving traction.
