How much water should be added to the VOGE 300R radiator?

The VOGE 300R radiator requires 1.5 liters of antifreeze. Generally, the coolant in the radiator of a water-cooled motorcycle does not need frequent refilling; it is recommended to check it every two months. Genuine antifreeze should be used: Authentic antifreeze is formulated with additives such as corrosion inhibitors and scale preventers, which minimize metal corrosion and allow for long-term use. However, some counterfeit or substandard products lack proper anti-corrosion measures. Some even add green dye or use liquids resembling seawater color to imitate antifreeze, leading to premature rusting of components like the cylinder block and radiator, thereby shortening the engine's lifespan. Proper procedure for adding antifreeze: When adding antifreeze, open the radiator cap when the engine is cold. Remove the small circulation hose from the right-angle connector outside the carburetor enrichment valve and place it vertically. Slowly pour the antifreeze into the radiator until all air is expelled from the small circulation hose and coolant begins to emerge. Then, reattach the hose to the right-angle connector and secure it with a retaining clip. Simultaneously, observe the air bubbles in the filler port until they disappear, and continue adding antifreeze until it reaches the upper limit indicated on the reservoir.
