How much engine oil should be added to the new Passat 330?

The new Passat 330 requires approximately 4.5L of engine oil. After adding oil, check the dipstick to ensure the oil level is between the upper and lower limits. Measurement method: First pull out the dipstick - there is a concave-convex area at its end with grid patterns and horizontal lines indicating the oil level range. Wipe clean the first pull-out, then reinsert and check again. The oil level is acceptable as long as it's within the grid lines.
