How Much Engine Oil Remaining Requires a Change?

Engine oil is not changed based on how much remains, but rather according to the mileage driven. For fully synthetic oil: if the mileage is low, it is generally changed every 7 to 8 months; if driven more, it should be changed every 8,000 kilometers. After purchasing a new car, the oil should be changed at the first 5,000 kilometers. For new cars, the engine is in a break-in period before initial use, resulting in more mechanical debris in the engine. Additionally, the oil change intervals vary depending on the car's origin: Japanese cars require an oil change every 5,000 kilometers or six months, while European and American cars need it every 7,500 kilometers or six months. Self-purchased engine oils have different change cycles depending on the type.
