Most 150cc motorcycles weigh between 125-128 kilograms. Definition of a motorcycle: A motorcycle is a two-wheeled or three-wheeled internal combustion engine vehicle with one or two saddles for passengers. Components of a motorcycle: A motorcycle consists of five main parts: the engine, transmission system, running gear, steering and braking system, and electrical instrumentation equipment. Classification of motorcycles: Light motorcycles refer to those with a displacement of 50cc, heavy motorcycles refer to those with a displacement below 250cc, and large heavy motorcycles refer to those with a displacement above 250cc.
Having ridden motorcycles for so many years, I feel that the weight of 150cc displacement bikes is quite particular. Most of the ones I've encountered have a dry weight hovering around 120 kilograms. For example, the common Honda CG125 on the streets weighs about 125 kilograms, while sportier models like the Haojue DR150 are around 138 kilograms. Of course, this doesn't include fuel or engine oil—when fully loaded with fluids, you'd need to add another dozen or so kilograms. The weight might not seem like much, but you can really feel it when pushing the bike, especially with models designed with a higher center of gravity, which tend to wobble more. If the bike tips over, it's quite a struggle for one person to lift it back up. When choosing a bike, besides checking the weight data, you should also consider the bike's size and center of gravity height, as these factors significantly impact the actual riding experience.
