In China, the service life of a two-wheeled motorcycle is set at 10 years, which can be extended by 3 years. However, during the 3-year extension period, an annual inspection must be conducted every six months. The extension is only permitted if the inspection is passed, and the motorcycle must be forcibly scrapped after 13 years. Additionally, light two-wheeled motorcycles, light three-wheeled motorcycles, two-wheeled motorcycles, and sidecar motorcycles with a service life of 10 years, and ordinary three-wheeled motorcycles with a service life of 9 years, must be scrapped.
