According to the "Regulations on the Application and Use of Motor Vehicle Driver's Licenses", the validity period of the study driving certificate after passing Subject 1 is three years, but the expiration date shall not exceed the upper age limit for application. Applicants should complete Subject 2 and Subject 3 tests within the validity period. If the tests are not completed within the validity period, the passed test results will be invalidated. Subject 1, also known as the theoretical test or driver's theory test, is part of the motor vehicle driver's license examination. The test content includes driving theory basics, road safety laws and regulations, local regulations, and other relevant knowledge. The test format is computer-based with a time limit of 45 minutes. Subject 1 consists of 100 single-choice and true/false questions, each worth 1 point. If 11 questions are answered incorrectly during the test, the system will automatically submit the test and end the examination. Subject 1 test content: Driver's license and motor vehicle management regulations; road traffic conditions and regulations; road traffic safety violations and penalties; road traffic accident handling regulations; basic knowledge of motor vehicles; local regulations; knowledge of braking systems and safety devices for large and medium-sized passenger and freight vehicles; specialized knowledge for wheeled self-propelled machinery, trams, and trolleybuses. Subject 1 test precautions: Candidates should pay attention to their attire during the test; no slippers are allowed, and electronic devices and bags are not permitted in the examination room. Bring your ID card and queue to enter the waiting hall. Observe the precautions and procedures on the large screen and store personal belongings in lockers before entering the examination room. Upon entering, the identity verification station will assign a seat. After finding your seat, begin the test. Ensure the camera is aligned with you and follow test discipline. If you fail the first attempt, a retake is available on the same day. If you fail again, you must pay to reschedule. After completion, queue to collect the score report and sign it. Unsigned reports are considered invalid. There is no limit to the number of times you can schedule the Subject 1 test. Each subject test can be taken once, and if failed, a retake is allowed. If you do not take the retake or fail it again, the test is terminated, and the applicant must reschedule. Subject 2 and Subject 3, however, have only five test attempts. If the Subject 3 safe and civilized driving knowledge test is failed, the passed road driving skills test results remain valid. There are three subjects in the driving test: Subject 1, Subject 2, and Subject 3. Subject 1 refers to the road traffic safety laws, regulations, and related knowledge test; Subject 2 refers to the field driving skills test; Subject 3 is divided into two parts: road driving skills and safe and civilized driving knowledge test. The safe and civilized driving knowledge test is conducted after Subject 3, so it is commonly referred to as Subject 4. However, in official terms (i.e., the Ministry of Public Security Order No. 123), there is no mention of Subject 4.

Can a small chunk missing from the tire sidewall be repaired?

Tire sidewall damage or air leakage cannot be repaired and requires tire replacement. The reason is that according to tire structure, the sidewall is the weakest part, consisting only of thin rubber layers and cord plies. These cord plies are mesh layers woven from cotton threads and rayon, bearing the air pressure that supports the entire vehicle's weight. If the tire sidewall is cut, especially when the cord plies are damaged, it completely disrupts the structural stress of the sidewall, making tire blowouts highly likely. Here are tips to avoid sidewall scratches: 1. Slow down when passing: Reduce speed when driving over potholes, speed bumps, or other uneven road surfaces. 2. Avoid two excesses: No speeding or overloading. 3. Avoid abrupt actions: Avoid sharp turns, rapid acceleration, emergency braking, and curb scraping.

What Are the Causes of Battery Plate Sulfation?

Battery plate sulfation is caused by: 1. Insufficient charging; 2. The battery being in a discharged or semi-discharged state; 3. Lack of regular charging; 4. Internal short circuit in the battery; 5. Low electrolyte level, exposing the plates. Solutions for battery plate sulfation vary depending on the situation: For mild sulfation, use a stable power source for balanced charging; for severe sulfation, use a low-voltage power source for small-current charging. Methods to prevent battery plate sulfation: 1. Maintain the charging system's normal operation and regularly check the generator and regulator; 2. Control the electrolyte density according to seasonal changes; 3. Perform regular charging; 4. Avoid high-current discharge at low temperatures.

What are the symptoms of a bad clutch pressure plate?

The symptoms of a bad clutch pressure plate are: 1. Inability to shift gears when depressing the clutch; 2. Poor starting power. The cause of clutch pressure plate damage is long-term wear leading to the clutch disc not being able to tightly engage. Precautions for clutch installation include: 1. Clean the clutch thoroughly before installation, removing anti-rust grease and debris; 2. Ensure no axial movement between the driving and driven parts, with axial alignment not exceeding 0.1mm; 3. Apply lubricating oil between friction discs; 4. Maintain proper clearance between end teeth to prevent grinding during idle; 5. The clutch and brake are Class B insulation, with normal temperature rise of 40°C and maximum working temperature not exceeding 100°C under thermal equilibrium conditions.

Where is the radiator located in a Volkswagen sedan?

In a Volkswagen sedan, the radiator is located at the front of the engine compartment under the hood. The radiator consists of a core, water pipes, cooling fins, an upper tank, and a lower tank. Its function is to absorb heat from the engine block, lower the engine temperature to protect it, and stop water circulation when the coolant temperature is low to prevent the engine from running too cold. Taking the 2020 Volkswagen Lavida as an example, its body dimensions are: 4670mm in length, 1806mm in width, and 1474mm in height. The 2020 Volkswagen Lavida is equipped with a 1.4T turbocharged engine, delivering a maximum horsepower of 150 PS, a maximum power of 110 kW, and a maximum torque of 250 Nm, paired with a 5-speed manual transmission.

Is the Civic Type R rear-wheel drive?

The Civic Type R is not rear-wheel drive; this model adopts a front-engine, front-wheel-drive layout, which means the engine is positioned at the front of the vehicle and the front wheels drive the entire car. The Civic Type R is equipped with a 2.0T turbocharged engine, delivering a maximum power of 320 horsepower and a peak torque of 400 Nm. The transmission system paired with the engine is a 6-speed manual gearbox. As a sports sedan, the exterior design of the Civic Type R does not differ significantly from the standard Civic. The front fascia retains Honda's family-style design, featuring a chrome grille bar and an upper grille with a one-piece design, while the headlights appear more elongated. Unlike the standard models, the Civic Type R sports a red emblem, whereas the regular models come with a silver emblem.

What is the purpose of cleaning the engine?

The purpose of cleaning the engine is: 1. To prevent oil mixing and remove sludge and oil films formed by engine oil; 2. To reduce corrosion of engine wiring or rubber hoses; 3. To unclog blocked oil passages; 4. To improve engine efficiency, reduce noise and fuel consumption; 5. To clean the engine lubrication system; 6. To prevent the engine from burning oil. The method for cleaning the engine is: 1. Open the fuel tank cap, remove the filter screen, and use a hose to extract the fuel from the tank, then add ethanol gasoline and replace it with a cleaning agent; 2. Disconnect the engine's inlet and return fuel pipes; 3. Add the fuel to the storage tank of the no-disassembly cleaning agent; 4. Adjust the pressure; 5. After cleaning the impurities at the bottom of the fuel tank, drain the gasoline from the tank.
