Driver's license renewal is for ten years the second time, and the third renewal is for a long-term driver's license that does not need to be renewed again. The condition required is that no single or multiple deductions of 12 points are allowed in each scoring cycle. Validity period of driver's license: Article 56 of the "Regulations on the Application and Use of Motor Vehicle Driver's Licenses": If a motor vehicle driver has not accumulated 12 points in any scoring cycle during the six-year validity period of the motor vehicle driver's license, the motor vehicle driver's license with a ten-year validity period shall be reissued; if a motor vehicle driver has not accumulated 12 points in any scoring cycle during the ten-year validity period of the motor vehicle driver's license, a long-term valid motor vehicle driver's license shall be reissued. Renewal period: The motor vehicle driver shall apply for renewal to the vehicle management office at the place where the motor vehicle driver's license was issued within 90 days before the expiration of the validity period of the motor vehicle driver's license. The "Motor Vehicle Driver's License Application Form" shall be filled in when applying.
