After the new regulations, the Baojun 730 is classified as a vehicle exempt from inspection for 6 years. The new regulations have expanded the scope of motor vehicle inspection exemptions. In addition to the existing exemption for non-operational small and micro passenger vehicles with 6 seats or fewer within 6 years, the exemption now also includes non-operational small and micro passenger vehicles with 7 to 9 seats (excluding minivans) within 6 years. Non-operational passenger cars: New vehicles within 6 years are exempt from on-site inspection, but must apply for an inspection mark every two years. Eligible private cars registered after September 2012 can enjoy this exemption policy; vehicles aged 6 to 15 years must undergo on-site inspection once a year, while those over 15 years must undergo inspection every six months. Operational passenger vehicles: Must be inspected once a year within 5 years; those over 5 years must be inspected every 6 months. Trucks and large or medium-sized non-operational passenger vehicles: Must be inspected once a year within 10 years; those over 10 years must be inspected every 6 months.
