There is no usage lifespan limit for sedans. When the normal driving mileage reaches 600,000 kilometers, the state will guide the vehicle to be scrapped. Vehicle scrapping process: 1. The car owner applying for scrapping and renewal should fill out an "Application Form for Vehicle Modification, Transfer, Alteration, Suspension, or Scrapping" and affix the owner's seal. 2. Apply at the registration acceptance counter. For vehicles that have reached the scrapping age, a "Vehicle Scrapping Notice" will be issued. For vehicles that have not reached the scrapping age but are deemed to meet the scrapping standards after inspection by the vehicle inspection counter, a "Vehicle Scrapping Notice" will be issued. 3. The vehicle owner can choose a qualified recycling company to dismantle the vehicle with the "Notice". 4. After verifying the "Notice", the recycling company will dismantle the vehicle and take photos. The engine must be separated from the vehicle, the engine block must be broken, and the frame (chassis) must be cut. 5. The vehicle owner should submit the "Modification Form", "XX Province Vehicle Renewal Technical Appraisal Form", "Scrapped Vehicle Recycling Certificate", and photos of the dismantled vehicle to the vehicle inspection counter for verification and signature. The license plates will be reclaimed, and the application will be submitted for approval according to regulations to complete the scrapping registration.

Last time I went to the DMV for business, I specifically asked about this. Nowadays, private cars indeed no longer have a mandatory scrapping age limit. The old policy used to enforce scrapping after 15 years of use, but that has long been changed. As long as your car can pass the annual inspection smoothly, you can keep driving it. However, it's important to note that after 15 years, the frequency of inspections increases to twice a year. Moreover, with the continuous updates in emission standards, although older cars meeting China III or China IV standards can still be driven, many cities have already imposed restrictions on them. Additionally, once a car reaches 600,000 kilometers, the DMV will recommend scrapping it, but it's not mandatory. My neighbor's Santana has been running for almost 20 years, and before each annual inspection, he takes it to the repair shop for a thorough check-up. In fact, as long as the maintenance is proper and there are no major accidents, driving for 200,000 kilometers is not a problem at all.

What Causes Vehicle Body Shaking at Low Speeds?

The reasons for vehicle body shaking at low speeds are: 1. Throttle blockage, carbon buildup, or abnormal opening; 2. Carbon buildup or blockage in the fuel injector; 3. Spark plug burning or damage; 4. Use of low-quality gasoline, leading to fuel pump blockage; 5. Incomplete combustion of the air-fuel mixture in the cylinder. The methods to address vehicle body shaking at low speeds are: 1. Read fault codes or data streams to eliminate sensor faults; 2. Check if the exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) valve has issues; 3. Inspect spark plugs, high-voltage wires, ignition coils, fuel injectors, timing marks, fuel pump pressure, and cylinder pressure; 4. Check if the idle speed control motor has problems, and clean the throttle and idle speed control motor.

What Causes CVT Shaking at Low Speeds?

CVT jerking at low speeds may be due to the transmission fluid inside the CVT not having reached normal operating temperature, or it could be caused by the CVT transmission fluid not being replaced for an extended period. How CVT Transmission Works: The transmission internally consists of only two pulleys and a steel belt. The steel belt of this transmission can move on the pulleys, allowing the transmission to vary speed and torque. Advantages of CVT Transmission: The advantages of CVT transmission include simple structure, compact size, fewer components, low manufacturing cost, lightweight, and smooth shifting.

Does Car Air Conditioning Refrigerant Recharge Require Vacuuming?

Car air conditioning refrigerant recharge requires vacuuming. The steps for refrigerant recharge are: 1. System vacuuming, close the manual valves on the pressure gauge and the high and low pressure manual valves; 2. Connect one end of the hose to the injection valve connector of the refrigerant tank; 3. Open the refrigerant tank, loosen the nut of the pressure gauge hose, allow some gas to escape, then close it; 4. Open the high-pressure side valve and invert the tank; 5. Inject the specified amount of liquid refrigerant, then close the refrigerant injection valve and the high-pressure manual valve. Car air conditioning is used to adjust and control the temperature, humidity, air cleanliness, and air flow inside the car compartment to an optimal state. Its components include the refrigeration system, heating system, air purification device, and control system.

How to Close Windows with the Key for Regal?

To close the windows with the car key for Regal, press and hold the unlock button to lower all four windows, and press and hold the lock button to raise all four windows. A car key refers to the tool used to operate the car, and modern car keys use chips, which are part of a magnetic chip system. Here is some information about car remote keys: 1. Basic Principle: The key emits a weak radio wave from the owner's vicinity, which is received by the car's antenna. The electronic control unit (ECU) identifies the signal code, and the system's actuator performs the action of opening or closing the lock. 2. Composition: The system mainly consists of two parts: the transmitter and the receiver.
