How Many Watts Are Car Headlights?

Generally, LED headlights are 30-40W, while daytime running lights do not exceed 10W. Halogen Lights: Halogen bulbs, commonly referred to as "candle lights," are characterized by their "yellow" color, good color rendering, and strong penetration. Another advantage is their low cost, making them the preferred choice for many car manufacturers. However, they have drawbacks such as poor brightness, low lumen value, short lifespan (300-500 hours), and low luminous efficiency. Xenon Lights: Xenon lights are known for their high brightness, low power consumption, and long lifespan (3000-5000 hours). A major drawback is severe light scattering, but this issue has been addressed with the introduction of bi-xenon projector lenses. Their power typically ranges between 35W-45W. LED Car Lights: LED bulbs have a higher color temperature, appearing whiter compared to xenon and halogen lights. They start instantly with no delay, have more focused beams, lower power consumption (22W-26W), and a long lifespan (50,000+ hours). They are also compact and easy to install. However, their heat dissipation issues can lead to faster brightness degradation. Due to their small light-emitting area, their light concentration is somewhat unsatisfactory.
