How Many Times to Press the One-Button Start?

Mercedes-Benz one-button start requires two presses. The first press of the start button powers up the vehicle, allowing it to perform a self-check. If no abnormalities are detected, the second press can then be made to start the engine. Below are some precautions regarding the one-button start: 1. Turning off the engine while driving: In case of an emergency during driving, the engine can be turned off by pressing the engine start/stop button for more than 3 seconds or pressing it three times consecutively. The power will then switch to the ACC state. 2. Starting the engine while driving: If the engine stalls while the vehicle is in motion, it can be restarted by shifting the gear lever to N (neutral) without pressing the brake pedal and then pressing the engine start/stop button.
