There is no limit to the number of retakes for Subject 1. According to Article 10 of the "Regulations on the Application and Use of Motor Vehicle Driving Licenses," you can take the Subject 1 retest twice on the same day. If you fail the first attempt, you can retake it for free a second time. If you still fail the second attempt, the Subject 1 test will be terminated, and you can only schedule another test after ten days. Subject 1, also known as the theoretical driving test or driver's theory exam, is part of the motor vehicle driving license assessment. The test content includes theoretical driving knowledge, road safety laws and regulations, local regulations, and related knowledge. The test is conducted on a computer with a time limit of 45 minutes. The passing score for Subject 1 is 90 out of 100. The test consists of 100 questions, including single-choice and true/false questions, with each question worth 1 point. If you answer 11 questions incorrectly during the test, the system will automatically submit the test and end the session. Subject 1 test content includes: driving license and motor vehicle management regulations; road traffic conditions and rules; road traffic safety violations and penalties; road traffic accident handling regulations; basic knowledge of motor vehicles; local regulations; knowledge of braking systems and safety devices for large and medium-sized passenger and freight vehicles; specialized knowledge for wheeled self-propelled machinery, trams, and trolleybuses. Test precautions for Subject 1: Candidates should dress appropriately (no slippers) and are not allowed to bring electronic devices or bags into the examination room. Bring your ID card and queue to enter the waiting hall. Observe the instructions and procedures on the large screen, and store personal belongings in a locker before entering the examination room. After entering the examination room, the identity verification desk will assign a seat. Once seated, begin the test. Ensure the camera is aligned with you and follow exam discipline. If you fail the first attempt, you can retake it the same day. If you fail again, you must pay to reschedule. After the test, queue to collect your score report and sign it—unsigned reports are invalid. For Subject 2 and Subject 3, there are only five test attempts each. Subject 2 and Subject 3 tests can be rescheduled after ten days. If you fail the Subject 3 safety and civilized driving knowledge test, the previously passed road driving skills test results remain valid. The driving test consists of three subjects: Subject 1, Subject 2, and Subject 3. Subject 1 refers to the road traffic safety laws, regulations, and related knowledge test. Subject 2 refers to the field driving skills test. Subject 3 is divided into two parts: road driving skills and safety and civilized driving knowledge tests. The safety and civilized driving knowledge test is conducted after Subject 3, so it is commonly referred to as Subject 4. However, the official term (as per the Ministry of Public Security Order No. 123) does not include "Subject 4."

I failed the subject one test twice last time before finally passing it. You can retake the subject one test unlimited times as long as it's within the three-year validity period of the exam. However, you need to make a new appointment each time and pay a retake fee of a few dozen yuan, usually with an interval of about 10 days before you can take it again. The computer-based test consists of multiple-choice questions randomly selected from a question bank. I recommend downloading the JiaKaoBaoDian App to practice more questions, unlike me who initially neglected the key points of traffic regulations. Keeping a steady mindset is crucial—don't get discouraged by failure. Review the rules and signs more, and only take the test after accumulating practice scores above 90. Actually, subject one isn't that difficult; it's just a matter of memory and understanding. With serious preparation, you can save unnecessary money and time.

I've been teaching driving for many years and have seen many students fail the subject one test. There's no limit to the number of retakes—you can take it as many times as you want within the three-year validity period, but each attempt costs around 50 to 100 yuan. From a teaching perspective, students often overlook the details in the questions or confuse the rules, which easily leads to failure. I always tell them to focus on practicing mock tests, simulate the real exam environment, and avoid just rote memorization. The interval between retakes is short, usually about a week, but I advise against waiting too long to avoid forgetting key points. The pass rate for subject one is high, but if you don’t prepare seriously, wasting several retakes would be a shame. Passing early allows you to move on to the practical driving sessions sooner.

How to Deal with Brake Air Leakage?

Solution for air leakage in the air brake master cylinder: Disassemble and clean it, check if the air shut-off valve is damaged, and if it's intact, apply some grease and reassemble it properly. Below are some brake maintenance measures: 1. Replacement: Under normal driving conditions, inspect the brake shoes every 5,000 kilometers. Not only should you check the remaining thickness, but also the wear condition of the shoes, whether both sides are wearing evenly, and whether they retract smoothly. Any abnormal conditions must be addressed immediately. 2. Use specialized tools for braking: When replacing brake shoes, always use specialized tools to push the brake caliper piston back. Do not use other pry bars to force it back, as this can easily bend the guide screws of the brake caliper, causing the brake pads to seize.

How to Eliminate the Yellow Exclamation Mark on Haval H6?

When a yellow exclamation mark appears on the car dashboard, there are 4 possible scenarios: general fault, automatic transmission fault, abnormal tire pressure, and lighting fault. Below is a detailed analysis of each situation: General Fault: A triangle with an exclamation mark indicates a general performance or component malfunction in the car. Common issues include parking sensor failure, fuel cutoff system intervention or malfunction, external light failure, or engine oil pressure sensor failure. It is recommended to visit a 4S shop for inspection to identify the source of the fault. Automatic Transmission Fault: A yellow gear with an exclamation mark is the automatic transmission fault warning light, indicating a transmission issue or low transmission fluid level. Immediate replacement of transmission fluid is necessary. Abnormal Tire Pressure: An exclamation mark under a horizontal line in brackets represents the tire pressure monitoring warning light, which illuminates when the tire pressure is too low. Check the tire pressure and adjust it back to the normal range. Lighting Fault: A yellow bulb with an exclamation mark is the lighting fault indicator, signaling a malfunction in the car lights. Solution: Visit a 4S shop for inspection as soon as possible, or perform a self-check focusing on commonly used bulbs such as turn signals, fog lights, and interior lights to identify the issue. There is also a red exclamation mark inside a circle with brackets, which indicates a warning for the braking system, mainly due to brake system failure or low brake fluid level. Immediate inspection of the braking system is required to avoid accidents.
