How Many Times Can You Retake Subject 2?

Subject 2 can be retaken a maximum of five times. If you do not attend the retake or fail the retake, the current exam session will be terminated, and the applicant must reschedule the exam. Both Subject 2 and Subject 3 exams can be rescheduled after ten days. Within the validity period of the driving skill test permit, the number of retakes for Subject 2 and Subject 3 road driving skill tests cannot exceed five. If you still fail the fifth retake, the results of other subjects that have been passed will be invalidated. For small vehicles C1 and C2, the Subject 2 test includes five items: reversing into a garage, parallel parking, stopping and starting on a slope, turning at a right angle, and driving on a curve.
The maximum number of retakes for Subject 2 is four, totaling five attempts including the initial test. When I was getting my driver's license, I almost used up the fifth chance—failed the first time due to nerves, messed up reversing into the parking spot on the second try, and struggled with parallel parking on the third. Luckily, I passed on the fourth attempt. If all five attempts fail, you'll have to re-enroll in the entire Subject 2 course, starting from scratch with both learning and practice, which wastes money and time. My advice is to practice more in simulated test areas before the exam, especially on tricky sections like hill starts, and record your practice to review and improve. Stay calm—most people pass within a few tries, so don’t stress too much. Just focus on practicing.
