The C1 and C2 small vehicle test items include five mandatory items: reversing into a garage, parallel parking, stopping and starting on a slope (canceled for C2), right-angle turns, and curve driving (commonly known as S-curves). Some regions also include a sixth item: highway card collection. The A1, A2, A3, B1, and B2 large vehicle test items include: stake test, stopping and starting on a slope, parallel parking, driving over a single-plank bridge, curve driving, right-angle turns, passing through a narrow gate, driving over continuous obstacles, driving on bumpy roads, narrow road U-turns, as well as simulated highway driving, continuous sharp turns on mountain roads, tunnels, rain (fog) conditions, slippery roads, and emergency handling. Subject 2 is scored out of 100 points, with evaluation criteria set for failing, deducting 20 points, deducting 10 points, and deducting 5 points. The test is considered passed if the following conditions are met: ① For applicants of large passenger vehicles, tractors, city buses, medium-sized passenger vehicles, and large trucks, a score of 90 or above is required; ② For other vehicle types, a score of 80 or above is required. If the Subject 2 test is failed on the first attempt, one retake is allowed. If the retake is not attended or is also failed, the test process ends, and the applicant must reschedule the test after ten days. Within the validity period of the driving skill test permit, the number of scheduled tests for Subject 2 and Subject 3 road driving skills cannot exceed five. If the fifth scheduled test is still failed, the results of other previously passed subjects will be voided.
