The Lynk & Co 09 has 7 seats. Some of the detailed changes made to the new Lynk & Co model are as follows: Exterior: Compared to the existing compact Lynk & Co models, the new vehicle has seen a significant increase in body size, with a new breakthrough in the front fascia design. The vertical chrome front grille connecting the two headlights matches the vertical extension of the body height, enhancing a dignified and imposing stance. Interior: The new car adopts a completely different and all-new design. Unlike the previous irregular shapes, this time it returns to straight lines. At the same time, the infotainment screen size has been further increased, and the digital instrument cluster has been upgraded to a floating style. Additionally, the new model features an electronic gear lever similar to those found on yachts. Configuration: According to the previous configuration list, the new car will offer three variants. The entry-level model comes standard with front parking radar, Bluetooth key, soundproof privacy glass, air quality sensor, and includes lane departure warning, lane keeping, collision warning, automatic emergency braking, road sign recognition, adaptive cruise control, etc. Powertrain: The new car is expected to offer two versions of the 2.0T turbocharged engine. The T4 powertrain delivers a maximum power of 160kW (218PS) and a peak torque of 325N·m, while the T5 powertrain offers a maximum power of 187kW (254PS) and a peak torque of 350N·m. Both engines are paired with an Aisin 8-speed automatic transmission, with the T5 model equipped with BorgWarner's fifth-generation intelligent all-wheel-drive system.
Speaking of the Lynk & Co 09, it's truly a blessing for large families, offering both 6-seat and 7-seat layout options. When my family test-drove it recently, we paid special attention to this feature. The 7-seat version follows the conventional 2+3+2 layout, which can be used as a 5-seater in daily life—just fold down the third row for an enormous trunk. The 6-seat version, however, boasts the most comfortable two independent middle seats, complete with armrests and heating functions, making long trips easier for elderly passengers to stretch their legs. The third-row space is roomier than the Highlander's; even at 175cm tall, I had a fist's worth of headroom. Most importantly, all seats are wrapped in genuine leather with multi-angle backrest adjustments, making it highly practical for school runs or family road trips. The trunk can easily fit three or four suitcases without a problem.
