How many points will be deducted for driving without a license plate?

Driving a motor vehicle on the road without displaying a license plate will result in the vehicle being impounded and returned only after providing the corresponding license plate. A fine of 20 to 200 yuan will be imposed. The following violations by motor vehicle drivers will result in a one-time deduction of 12 points: 1. Driving a motor vehicle that does not match the permitted vehicle type; 2. Driving under the influence of alcohol; 3. Driving a passenger transport vehicle (excluding buses) or school bus with more than 20% over the approved passenger capacity; 4. Fleeing the scene after causing a traffic accident without constituting a crime; 5. Driving a motor vehicle on the road without displaying a license plate, or intentionally covering, damaging, or not installing the license plate as required.
