Driving a medium-sized or larger passenger vehicle or a hazardous material transport vehicle continuously for more than 4 hours without stopping to rest or with a rest period of less than 20 minutes will result in a deduction of 12 points. Driving any other motor vehicle continuously for more than 4 hours without stopping to rest or with a rest period of less than 20 minutes will result in a deduction of 6 points. Below are several situations that result in a 12-point deduction: Situation 1: Driving a motor vehicle on the road without displaying a license plate, or intentionally obscuring, damaging, or improperly installing the license plate. Situation 2: Driving a medium-sized or larger passenger or cargo vehicle, school bus, or hazardous material transport vehicle on a highway or urban expressway at a speed exceeding the speed limit by more than 20%, or driving on other roads at a speed exceeding the speed limit by more than 50%, as well as driving any other motor vehicle at a speed exceeding the speed limit by more than 50%.
