Driving against traffic on a one-way street results in a deduction of three points. According to Article 90 of the Road Traffic Safety Law, motor vehicle drivers who violate road traffic safety laws and regulations regarding road passage rules will be given a warning or fined. Vehicles on a one-way street can only travel in the same direction, and driving against traffic is not allowed. One-way street signs include left one-way streets, right one-way streets, and straight one-way streets. Situations where motor vehicles are considered to be driving against traffic: 1. On roads with solid dividing lines, motor vehicles entering the opposite lane, where the dividing line is double solid or single solid, are not allowed to cross the line under any circumstances; 2. On roads with dashed dividing lines, overtaking is allowed if safety is ensured; 3. On roads with one-way street signs, any motor vehicle entering is considered to be driving against traffic.
