How many kilometers should the spark plugs of the Baojun 730 be replaced?

The spark plugs of the Baojun 730 should be replaced every 20,000 kilometers. The function of the spark plug is to introduce high-voltage electricity into the combustion chamber, causing it to jump across the electrode gap and generate a spark, igniting the combustible mixture in the cylinder. The Baojun 730 is a 5-door, 7-seat MPV with body dimensions of 4780mm in length, 1780mm in width, and 1740mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2750mm. The Baojun 730 is equipped with a 1.5T turbocharged engine and a 6-speed manual transmission, delivering a maximum power of 108 kW and a maximum torque of 250 Nm. It features front-wheel drive, with a MacPherson independent suspension at the front and a torsion beam non-independent suspension at the rear.
I previously drove a Baojun 730 for over 50,000 kilometers. Generally, it's recommended to replace spark plugs every 20,000 to 30,000 kilometers. The manual clearly states to inspect them every 20,000 kilometers, and replace if the electrodes are severely worn. I mainly use the car for urban commuting with good fuel quality, so stretching it to 30,000 kilometers wasn't a big issue. However, one winter I experienced difficulty starting the car and realized the ignition efficiency had decreased. Remember to have the mechanic check the spark plug condition during regular maintenance—don't wait until the engine starts shaking to fix it, as that could cost more. Driving smoothly can extend their lifespan, but for safety, don't exceed the 30,000-kilometer limit.
