Generally, the gear oil of a car should be changed every 60,000 kilometers. Gear oil is mainly composed of petroleum lubricating base oil or synthetic lubricating oil, with the addition of extreme pressure anti-wear agents and oiliness agents. Gear oil primarily functions to lubricate gears and bearings, prevent wear and corrosion, and help dissipate heat from gears. It is used in various gear transmission devices to extend their service life and improve power transmission efficiency. Gear oil has excellent anti-wear and load-bearing properties, as well as suitable viscosity. It also features good thermal oxidation stability, anti-foaming properties, water separation performance, and rust prevention. Since gear loads generally exceed 490 MPa, and the load on hypoid gear surfaces can reach up to 2,942 MPa, gear oil accounts for about 6% to 8% of the total lubricant consumption.

What is the internal structure of an exhaust pipe muffler?

The exhaust pipe muffler generally consists of several parts, including the exhaust pipe, connecting sleeve, muffler cylinder, and cylinder core. Below is a detailed introduction to the internal structure of the exhaust pipe muffler: 1. Connecting sleeve: Equipped with an oil-impregnated asbestos sealing ring to prevent air leakage at the interface between the exhaust pipe and the muffler cylinder. 2. Muffler cylinder: The muffler cylinder is welded with 7 partition plates, dividing it into 8 muffler chambers (seven expansion chambers and one resonance chamber). The cylinder core features inverted triangular flow guide grooves and numerous small holes. When high-temperature exhaust gas from the engine enters the muffler at high speed through the exhaust pipe, the cross-sectional area of the muffler cylinder gradually increases, allowing the gas flow to expand and its velocity to decrease, thereby attenuating strong pulsating noise. As the gas flow continues through each expansion chamber, it is forced to pass through the throttling holes on the partition plates and the cylinder core due to the obstruction of the partition plates. This causes the gas flow to be suddenly compressed, split into numerous fine streams, and then suddenly expanded again. Through such repeated abrupt changes, the sound energy is greatly attenuated, effectively reducing exhaust noise.

Will reversing up steps damage the car?

Reversing up steps can damage the car if done incorrectly. Here is some relevant information about rearview mirrors: 1. Definition: Vehicles are generally equipped with anti-glare rearview mirrors, which consist of a special mirror, two photodiodes, and an electronic controller. The electronic controller receives signals from the photodiodes for front and rear light. If the light shining on the rearview mirror inside the car is greater from the rear than from the front, the electronic controller will output a voltage to the conductive layer. 2. Material: The reflective coating of vehicle rearview mirrors is usually made of silver or aluminum, and some use chromium. Currently, in foreign vehicles, chromium mirrors have replaced silver and aluminum mirrors.

What is the Difference Between New Energy Vehicle Repair and Traditional Vehicle Repair?

Here is an introduction to the differences between new energy vehicle repair and traditional vehicle repair: 1. Vehicle structure: The core components of new energy vehicles mainly consist of the three electric systems (battery, motor, and electric control), and repairing these systems requires diagnostic instruments and other methods, resulting in higher costs; whereas traditional vehicles are simpler to repair. 2. Vehicle parts: Parts for new energy electric vehicles are harder to source and are generally more expensive; traditional vehicle repair parts are more readily available. Additionally, since traditional vehicles primarily consist of mechanical components, repairs are simpler and require fewer tools to fix a vehicle.

Where is the memory card for the Geely Emgrand S dash cam located?

Location of the memory card for the Geely Emgrand S dash cam: For rearview mirror dash cams, the memory card slot is usually located on the upper side of the device. For hidden or smaller dash cams, the memory card slot is typically found on either side of the device. Below is some relevant information about dash cams: 1. Definition: A dash cam is a device that records images, sounds, and other related information during vehicle operation. After installing a dash cam, it can record the entire driving process, including video and audio, which can serve as evidence in traffic accidents. For those who enjoy road trips, it can also be used to document the journey through challenging terrains. It continuously records while driving, capturing time, speed, and location in the footage, functioning much like a "black box." It can also be used at home as a DV camera to record life's moments or as a home surveillance device. 2. Functions: It protects the legal rights of drivers. In case of a collision with pedestrians, cyclists, or motorcyclists crossing the road, there is a risk of extortion. Having a dash cam allows drivers to provide valid evidence. Reviewing the recorded footage makes accident responsibilities clear, enabling traffic police to handle accidents quickly and accurately. This allows for swift clearance of the scene to restore traffic flow while preserving valid evidence of the incident, contributing to a safe and smooth traffic environment.

What is the difference between 12a and 20a batteries?

Here is an introduction to the differences between 12a and 20a batteries: 1. Battery capacity: The 20Ah battery has 8Ah more capacity than the 12Ah battery; a 12Ah battery can discharge for 6 hours, while a 20Ah battery can discharge for 10 hours, providing 4 more hours of discharge. 2. Charger: A 20A charger for electric vehicles cannot charge a 12A battery because the 12Ah battery has a smaller capacity; normally, using a 12Ah charger to charge a 20Ah battery once in a while can extend the battery's lifespan. 3. Price: The 20Ah battery is more expensive, while the 12Ah battery is relatively cheaper.
