Chery Arrizo 5 comes with 2 keys. Generally, both car keys are identical in appearance and functionality. Working principle of remote keys: When near the owner, the remote key emits weak radio waves which are received by the car's antenna. The electronic control unit (ECU) then identifies the signal code, and the system's actuator performs the lock/unlock action. It mainly consists of two parts: the transmitter and the receiver. Advantages of remote keys: They provide drivers with more convenient and quicker access to the vehicle. Whether during the day or night, there's no need for lighting or the cumbersome process of inserting a key to open the door. They also allow for long-distance locking and unlocking.

I've been driving the Arrizo 5 for two years now. The car came with two keys from the factory, both with remote control functions. I usually keep the primary key in my bag and store the spare key in a drawer at home. Both keys can lock/unlock the doors and trunk, and holding the button can remotely open/close the windows. Once I left my primary key in a friend's car, but fortunately the spare key saved me from being late for work. If you need a new key, you have to go to the 4S shop and bring the vehicle registration certificate to match the electronic anti-theft system. I heard it costs about 300-400 RMB. So I recommend using one key regularly and keeping the other one properly stored for emergencies. Also remember to take your keys when washing the car to avoid losing them.

I remember when I picked up the car, the salesperson specifically mentioned that the Arrizo 5 comes with two original keys, both being chip-equipped folding types. From my personal experience, they're quite convenient - for instance, I don't need to rummage through my bag after grocery shopping, just press the key from 3-5 meters away to unlock. If you lose one, there's no need to panic, just remember to bring the car purchase invoice when getting a replacement at the 4S store. However, be careful not to store both keys in the same place. Once my wife accidentally put both keys in a pants pocket that went through the washing machine - fortunately we noticed in time. Now we've developed a habit of hanging them on a dedicated key hook by the entrance.

As a car owner, I must say the Arrizo 5's keys are really practical—both come with a car-finding button. When I couldn't locate my car in the parking lot at night, pressing the key made the car lights flash. I decorated the main key with a Pikachu keychain, while the spare key stays in the safe. My biggest fear is water damage—last time it fell into the fish tank, and I panicked. I immediately removed the battery and used a hairdryer for half an hour to fix it. The remote range is about 10 meters, but it becomes less responsive through walls. If the key gets completely damaged, replacing it requires matching a code, which any repair shop can handle.
