The C1 Subject 2 test is mainly divided into five items: reversing into a garage, parallel parking, curve driving, right-angle turning, and hill start. For automatic transmission (C2), the hill start is not included. In some regions, there is an additional item of high-speed card collection. A C1 driver's license allows driving small and micro passenger vehicles, among others. Introduction and tips for the Subject 2 test: Before starting the car during the Subject 2 test, be sure to adjust the seat height and rearview mirrors to ensure a wide field of vision, and fasten the seat belt. During the test, do not stop unless the system announces a failure. Parallel parking: Park the car in the designated space without crossing or touching the lines. Tips: Remember to find the correct angle, turn the steering wheel quickly, react promptly, and coordinate with the car's speed. Hill start: Drive slowly up the hill and stop within the designated area. Tips: Remember to engage the handbrake, turn on the left turn signal when starting, release the handbrake, stabilize the clutch, and gently press the accelerator while releasing the clutch to avoid stalling or rolling back. Right-angle turning: Prepare to turn 90 degrees while driving straight without crossing or touching the lines. Tips: Find the reference point before turning and coordinate with the car's speed. Curve driving (S-curve): Drive slowly through the S-curve without crossing or touching the lines. Tips: Control the speed, drive slowly, and coordinate the timing of turning the car's front. Reversing into a garage: Reverse the car into the garage without stalling or crossing/touching the lines. Tips: Control the speed, find the reference point, and make minor adjustments if there is any deviation observed in the rearview mirror. C1 driver's license passing standards: Traffic regulations and related knowledge—90 points to pass. Field driving—80 points to pass. Road driving—80 points to pass. Subject 2 deduction items: Reversing into a garage: If the car body crosses the line, 100 points are deducted, and the test is failed. If the car is not fully parked in the garage, 100 points are deducted, and the test is failed. Stopping midway deducts 5 points each time. Failing to complete the test within the specified time deducts 100 points, and the test is failed. Parallel parking: If the car body crosses the line after parking, 100 points are deducted, and the test is failed. Stopping midway deducts 5 points each time. If the tires or car body touch the curb line while driving, 10 points are deducted. Failing to complete the test within the specified time deducts 100 points, and the test is failed. Curve driving: If the wheels touch the road edge line, the test is failed. Stopping midway results in failure. Driving in a gear lower than second deducts 5 points. Right-angle turning: If the wheels touch the road edge line, the test is failed. Stopping midway deducts 5 points each time. Hill start and parking: If the car's front bumper or motorcycle's front axle is not aligned with the pole line and exceeds 50 cm, the test is failed. If the start time exceeds the specified time, the test is failed. If the car's front bumper or motorcycle's front axle is not aligned with the pole line but does not exceed 50 cm, 10 points are deducted. If the car body is more than 30 cm but less than 50 cm away from the road edge line after stopping, 10 points are deducted. If the parking brake is not engaged after stopping, 10 points are deducted.

Last year when I was preparing for my driver's license test, I specifically researched that in 2021, the C1 Category 2 test consisted of five mandatory items. First was reverse parking into a garage, which required practicing until you could park perfectly without crossing lines. Next came parallel parking, where you had to accurately identify reference points in the rearview mirror. The third item was stopping and starting on a slope, which was most dreaded for rolling back or stalling. The right-angle turn seemed simple but required signaling in advance. Finally, there was the curve driving, controlling speed along an S-shaped path. During my practice, I made the most mistakes on the slope item. My instructor said these five items are now standardized nationwide, though some regions might add a narrow-road U-turn test, but passing all five basic items is mandatory to qualify. For the test, it's recommended to wear flat shoes for better clutch control.

As a veteran driving instructor who has trained hundreds of students, I can definitively say that the 2021 C1 Subject 2 test consists of five items: reverse parking, parallel parking, hill start and stop, right-angle turns, and curve driving. During training, I require students to focus on mastering reverse parking and hill starts, as these have the highest failure rates. For reverse parking, practice until you can enter the space without relying on mirrors. For hill starts, learn to judge the half-clutch point by listening to the engine sound. Pay attention to small details in other items, such as not pressing the clutch when driving through curves and signaling at least three seconds before making right-angle turns. Although some provinces like Shanghai have additional items, the national standard for driver's licenses includes only these five.

My younger brother just got his driver's license. In 2021, the C1 Category 2 test indeed consisted of five fixed items. In the order of the test: reversing into a garage was the hardest, and he practiced for two whole weeks; for parallel parking, you have to watch out for the tires crossing the line or you fail; then, starting on a slope requires precise alignment within 30cm of the edge; for the right-angle turn, you need to control the timing of steering the wheel correctly; finally, the curve driving was the easiest. He said the test car was much more sensitive than the practice car, so he recommends renting a car at the test site before the exam to get used to the clutch. The retake fee is 120 yuan, and failing any of the five items means you have to retake the entire test, which is particularly frustrating.
