A Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) is a unique 17-character alphanumeric code used to identify motor vehicles. It contains information such as the manufacturer, production location, model year, and engine/chassis serial number. Due to its unique nature and comprehensive vehicle information, it is often referred to as a vehicle's ID card.
