How Many Days Does It Take to Check Traffic Violation Records?

Traffic violation records can generally be checked within three days. For some clear or non-controversial violations, such as speeding, illegal parking, or driving in the wrong direction, the records may be available within a few hours. However, violations that occur in other locations may take 7-10 days to appear. According to regulations, traffic authorities are required to verify and input violation information into the system within a maximum of 13 working days, meaning that violations can be checked within 15 days at the latest. After a violation occurs, you will typically receive a text message or letter notification, requiring you to handle the violation at the specified location within the stipulated time. There are two ways to handle violations: online processing or visiting the vehicle management office. Online processing has certain limitations and is only applicable to violations with penalty points less than 12 and those not caught by on-site law enforcement. To pay traffic violation fines using the Traffic Management 12123 app: Log in to Traffic Management 12123 and bind your driver's license and vehicle license; click on 'Violation Processing' and bind your or someone else's vehicle; check the violation records of the bound vehicle; select the unprocessed violation records for which you need to pay the fine, then click 'Pay'; choose WeChat/Alipay for payment.
