My instructor told me about this quite a bit. After failing the subject one test, you have to wait ten days to retake it. These ten days are counted from the day of your last test, and you can't schedule a new test during this period. Once you get through these ten days, you can book a slot on the Traffic Management 12123 app, but when you can take the test depends on the availability at the test center. My friend last time waited until the morning of the tenth day to book after failing, and only got an afternoon slot two days later. I suggest you spend some time every day going through the question bank, and check the app frequently during the day—some test centers release slots from cancellations late at night.
