A new car can use temporary license plates for a maximum of 45 days. The temporary license plates for a new car are valid for 15 days each time, and can be applied for up to 3 times in total. Temporary license plates refer to paper motor vehicle license plates that allow temporary road use of the vehicle. Types of temporary license plates: Temporary license plates for administrative jurisdiction areas, temporary license plates for cross-administrative jurisdiction areas, temporary license plates for testing purposes, and temporary license plates for special-type motor vehicles.
