How many days after applying for the Subject 1 test can you confirm your appointment?

Normally, after a student submits an online application, the system will process the appointment within 4 to 6 days, and the student will receive an SMS notification. However, due to varying numbers of applicants, the queue for Subject 1 appointment processing and the time taken for successful processing may differ. Those who have previously canceled an appointment or are reapplying are usually given priority in scheduling. The Subject 1 test is primarily a theoretical exam, covering knowledge of traffic signals, traffic regulations, and driving-related topics. It consists of 100 questions, with each examinee receiving a different set randomly selected from a question bank based on a specific ratio. A score of over 90 is required to pass, and the exam duration is 45 minutes. If a candidate fails the Subject 1 test for the first time, they can raise their hand to signal the invigilator for a re-verification of information and a retake. If the retake is also unsuccessful, it means the candidate has failed the exam and needs to reapply. Once the Subject 1 test is passed, the candidate will receive a driving study certificate, and all remaining subjects must be completed within three years.
Last time I booked the subject one test, I submitted the application on the Traffic Management 12123 App and received the confirmation SMS within 24 hours, which went pretty smoothly. Generally, the system will automatically process the application within one or two days after booking; sometimes in big cities like Beijing and Shanghai, it may take around three days to get the result during peak periods. Don't worry too much, the status bar in the App updates in real time, so remember to log in frequently to check; if there's no update after three days, check your SMS folder or contact the driving school to inquire. Just wait patiently, and make sure to review the questions thoroughly to prepare for the exam.
