Prado 2700 is equipped with both four-cylinder and six-cylinder engines. The four-cylinder engine version of the Toyota Prado 2700 emphasizes active safety design and configurations, featuring a Torsen central differential that distributes torque between the front and rear axles in a 40:60 ratio. In case of slippage, the torque distribution can adjust up to a maximum ratio of 29:71. The 2017 Middle East version of the Toyota Prado 2700 with a six-cylinder engine adopts a body-on-frame construction with an independent chassis and a solid axle rear suspension, ensuring excellent maneuverability and driving stability. The 2018 Middle East version of the Toyota Prado 2700 features a wide five-vertical-slat grille and removes the fog lights originally positioned at the lower part.
