The Lynk & Co 05 is equipped with a four-cylinder engine, each cylinder featuring four valves. It is a 2.0-liter turbocharged engine producing 254 horsepower, with the engine model designated as JLH4G20TDC. The maximum power output is 187 kW, and the maximum torque is 350 Nm. The engine requires fuel with an octane rating of 95 or higher. In terms of body dimensions, the Lynk & Co 05 measures 4,592 mm in length, 1,879 mm in width, and 1,628 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,734 mm. For the interior, the Lynk & Co 05 adopts a completely new design language, differing from the multi-curved and rounded-corner interior designs of existing products. It extensively employs straight lines and diamond-shaped lines, creating a strong sense of layering.

I previously researched the powertrain configuration of the Lynk & Co 05, which actually comes with two engine options. The best-selling version currently is the 2.0T four-cylinder model. This Drive-E series engine features quite advanced technology, delivering a maximum horsepower of 254. There was also a plug-in hybrid version equipped with a three-cylinder engine, but the main focus now is on the four-cylinder gasoline model. Volvo's technology has indeed provided Lynk & Co with impressive power performance—the acceleration offers noticeable push-back sensation, and fuel consumption is reasonably controlled. At highway speeds, the engine RPM remains low, and cabin noise is barely noticeable.

My brother bought a 05 last year and specifically asked the salesperson about the engine. The car's main engine now is a 2.0T four-cylinder, which indeed delivers strong power. The salesperson mentioned that this engine uses a small-inertia turbo, so there's hardly any noticeable lag when stepping on the gas. I drove his car on mountain roads, and the power was continuous when climbing slopes. The only thing is the engine noise is slightly loud during cold starts, but it gets much better after warming up. Using 95-octane fuel, it consumes about 9 liters per 100 kilometers in the city, which is quite reasonable for such a heavy SUV.

The Lynk & Co 05's powertrain adopts an inline four-cylinder layout. Its main engine model is the JLH-4G20TDC, featuring a transverse-mounted 2.0L turbocharged design. The engine bay layout is quite compact but reserves sufficient cooling space. During actual driving, torque output is most abundant around 2,500 rpm, with particularly brisk acceleration from 60-100km/h. The twin-scroll technology significantly reduces turbo lag compared to previous generations, and the paddle shifters provide swift downshift responses.
