How Many Chances Are There for Subject 4?

Subject 4 is the safety and civilized driving theory test, which does not have a limit on the number of attempts. However, each test session only offers two chances. If you fail the first attempt, you can retake it immediately. If both attempts are unsuccessful, you must wait 10 days before scheduling a new test. Although there is no limit on the number of attempts for Subject 4, it must be passed within the three-year validity period of the "Driving Learning Permit." Otherwise, previously passed subject scores will become invalid. Subject 4 Test Content: Requirements for safe and civilized driving operations, knowledge of safe driving under adverse weather and complex road conditions, emergency handling methods for situations like tire blowouts, and post-accident handling knowledge. Subject 4 Question Types: For the type of driver's license being tested, 50 questions are proportionally selected from the corresponding Subject 4 question bank. For car licenses, questions are drawn from a pool of 1,240, while for large vehicle licenses, they are drawn from 1,235. Each question is worth 2 points.
