Motor vehicle driver's licenses are valid for six years, ten years, or indefinitely. The following are the conditions for renewing a driver's license upon expiration of its validity period: 1. Time: Motor vehicle drivers should apply for renewal at the vehicle management office of the license issuing authority within 90 days before the expiration of their driver's license. 2. Demerit Points: The cumulative demerit points of the motor vehicle driver must not reach the maximum limit. 3. Physical Condition: The motor vehicle driver must meet the physical conditions for applying for a driver's license as stipulated in the "Regulations on the Application and Use of Motor Vehicle Driver's Licenses" (Order No. 91 of the Ministry of Public Security).
