The exemption period for small vehicle inspections is 6 years. Below are the regulations for vehicle inspection cycles: 1. Commercial vehicles: Passenger vehicles for commercial use must be inspected once a year if they are within 5 years of service; if they exceed 5 years, inspection is required every 6 months. 2. Trucks: Trucks and large or medium-sized non-commercial passenger vehicles must be inspected once a year if they are within 10 years of service; if they exceed 10 years, inspection is required every 6 months. 3. Small vehicles: Small and mini non-commercial passenger vehicles must be inspected once every 2 years if they are within 6 years of service, and those that meet the exemption criteria only need to apply for an inspection label. Starting from November 20, 2020, non-commercial small and mini passenger vehicles with 7-9 seats (excluding minivans) are included in the exemption scope.
