The driver's license medical examination is valid for 6 months. The medical examination is the first step in applying for a driver's license. Only after passing the medical examination can you proceed to register at a driving school with the medical examination certificate and ID card. According to regulations, applicants for large passenger vehicles, tractors, city buses, medium-sized passenger vehicles, large trucks, trolleybuses, or tram driving licenses must have naked or corrected visual acuity of at least 5.0 on the logarithmic visual acuity chart. For other driving license categories, the naked or corrected visual acuity must reach at least 4.9 on the logarithmic visual acuity chart. Additionally, the medical examination requires no red-green color blindness; the ability to distinguish the direction of sound sources with each ear 50 cm away from a tuning fork; sound thumbs on both hands with at least three other fingers intact on each hand, and normal limb and finger movement functions.
