The Cadillac CT5 has a length of 4924mm, a width of 1883mm, and a height of 1459mm, with a wheelbase of 2947mm. It features a fastback design, giving the overall styling a distinctive and fashionable appearance. Additionally, the long hood and short rear design enhance its sporty appeal. The long hood, short front overhang design, and the ultra-long 2947mm wheelbase, along with the Alpha diamond-shaped corner window at the C-pillar and the integrated ducktail spoiler, create a more defined fastback silhouette. The vehicle's taut, sculpted character lines, the integrated star-shaped door handles, and the first-time use of a new key design further enhance its premium look.

Last week I just helped my cousin measure his newly acquired CT5. The 4924mm body length is indeed imposing. This size will protrude slightly beyond standard parking spaces, requiring an extra couple of reverses when parking at malls. The trunk can vertically fit three 28-inch suitcases, and the rear seat cushions are deliberately shortened to make the legroom appear more spacious. It drives quite nimbly though - the rear-wheel-drive car has a smaller turning radius than expected, allowing U-turns on narrow roads with just one full turn of the wheel.

Can I drive if my driver's license has no points left?

You cannot continue driving if your driver's license has no points left. Here is relevant information about driver's licenses: 1. Meaning of a driver's license: A driver's license, also known as a "driving license," is officially called a motor vehicle driving license. It is a certificate required by law for individuals who operate motor vehicles. 2. Driver's license point system: The point system on a driver's license serves as a penalty for traffic violations committed by the driver. Depending on the severity of the traffic violation, points can range from a minimum of 1 to a maximum of 12 per violation. The point cycle corresponds to one inspection period. If a driver accumulates 12 points within one cycle, they lose their driving privileges. Typically, they must undergo no less than 7 days of traffic safety education and pass an examination before their driving privileges can be restored.

Do Plug-in Hybrids Belong to the New Energy Category?

Plug-in hybrids belong to the new energy category. Plug-in hybrid vehicles are currently a transitional model between gasoline-powered cars and pure electric vehicles, with the purpose of allowing more people to understand and use new energy vehicles. Due to the range limitations of pure electric vehicles, plug-in hybrid models have emerged to compensate and further promote the construction of charging infrastructure. Below is an introduction to the types of plug-in hybrid electric vehicles: 1. Series Plug-in Hybrid: Also known as range-extended electric vehicles. The engine does not directly drive the car; instead, it first drives a generator to produce electricity, which then powers the motor to drive the car. The energy transfer chain is long, resulting in relatively low overall efficiency. 2. Parallel Plug-in Hybrid: In this type, both the engine and the motor can drive the car. It offers multiple power transmission modes, better dynamic performance, a simple structure, and is widely used, making it the mainstream technical route. 3. Power-Split Plug-in Hybrid: Also known as series-parallel hybrids. It generally requires two motors (one generator and one motor) and a set of planetary gears for power distribution.

What transmission does the 2013 Honda CR-V use?

The 2013 Honda CR-V uses a transmission produced by Honda itself. Honda, officially known as Honda Motor Co., Ltd., is a multinational automobile manufacturer listed on both the Tokyo Stock Exchange and the New York Stock Exchange. Honda's current product line mainly consists of four major businesses: automobiles, motorcycles, power products, and aircraft. The automobile business is composed of the core brand Honda and the luxury brand Acura. The 2013 Honda CR-V transmission employs an electronic continuously variable transmission (CVT) and a continuously variable transmission (CVT). A CVT does not have specific gears; it operates similarly to an automatic transmission, but the ratio changes continuously rather than in steps like an automatic transmission, ensuring smooth and continuous power delivery. When using the 2013 Honda CR-V's transmission in daily driving, pay attention to the following points: Do not delay changing the transmission fluid for too long. Prolonged failure to change the transmission fluid can damage internal components such as bearings and the housing. Avoid coasting in neutral for extended periods. Many experienced drivers coast in neutral when driving manual transmission vehicles, but for automatic transmissions, coasting in neutral can cause overheating and may result in a jolt when shifting back into Drive (D). Never shift into Drive (D) or Reverse (R) before the vehicle has come to a complete stop. Some drivers shift into reverse while the vehicle is still moving to showcase their "smooth" operation, but this can severely damage the transmission gears and may lead to gear grinding or other failures over time. Avoid frequently climbing steep hills in Drive (D). Automatic transmission vehicles can overheat under heavy loads or shift too early, causing a lack of power when climbing. In such cases, use manual mode to lock in a lower gear or switch to sport mode to protect the transmission. Do not tow the vehicle over long distances. If an automatic transmission vehicle breaks down, use a flatbed tow truck to move the vehicle onto the tow platform while it is in Neutral (N). Do not use a tow rope or tow the vehicle directly with another vehicle.

How to Remove a Broken Key from the Lock Hole?

Here are the methods to remove the key: 1. When the key breaks in the lock, borrow a hammer. Gently tap the lock gap with the hammer to try to return the key to its original position, then use the remaining half of the key to open it. 2. If the lock is a cross lock. Process the hole channel, prepare a small electric drill with the smallest drill bit, drill a few holes around to slightly enlarge the lock hole. Prepare a piece of wire, apply 502 glue on it, insert the wire, wait a few minutes for the glue to dry, then use the wire to pull the key out. 3. If the lock is a flat lock and the key is broken at the entrance of the lock hole, use a specialized single hook for opening doors to reach inside the lock and hook out the broken key. If it's not broken at the entrance, use a small wire to reach in, hook the key, and pull it out.

What Causes the Door Not to Auto-Lock?

Door not auto-locking occurs when the trigger conditions are not met. Below are the details about the auto-lock function: 1. Purpose: The auto-lock function is designed for theft prevention, quickly locking the doors after driving to provide a certain level of security. 2. Locking Method: When the vehicle speed reaches the preset value by the computer, the lock button is automatically pressed. This is the most common auto-lock method used in many vehicle models to prevent accidental door opening. 3. Trigger Conditions: Depending on the vehicle model, the trigger conditions for auto-lock vary. Some models require continuous driving for 10 seconds for the doors to auto-lock, while others are set to auto-lock as soon as the driver steps on the brake.
