You can unbind it at any time. There are two methods to unbind a driver's license from a vehicle: you can either do it yourself through the mobile app "Traffic Management 12123" or visit the nearest vehicle management internet service window with the required documents to complete the unbinding process. Method 1: Self-service unbinding process: Download the "Traffic Management 12123" mobile app and register and bind it with your real name. On your driver's license information page, click the three-dot function option icon in the upper right corner to enter the more services page. Find the driver's license function option icon, click it, and enter the driver's license page. In the more services page, locate and click the unbind driver's license function option to enter the unbinding page. On the driver's license unbinding page, users can confirm and click the unbind option to complete the unbinding of the driver's license information. Method 2: Vehicle owners or drivers can directly apply for unbinding at the nearest vehicle management internet service window. Both the vehicle owner and driver must bring their original ID card and the original vehicle registration certificate of the vehicle to be unbound. The window staff will strictly follow the procedure to complete the unbinding, and a successful unbinding notification from the "Traffic Police" will be received within one working day after the review is completed.
