Subject 1 video requires 12 hours of study, with a maximum of four hours per day. Subject 1 exam content: Basic knowledge of motor vehicles; laws, regulations, and road traffic signals; safe driving and civilized driving basics; fundamental knowledge related to motor vehicle operation. The Subject 1 exam process is as follows: Follow the staff's instructions and collect your driving training file in order at the waiting area; Carry and present your ID card for inspection by the supervising officer; Mobile phones must be turned off upon entering the exam area; No loud talking is allowed in the exam area; Regulation textbooks are not allowed in the exam area (or must be placed in your bag); After the exam, keep your ID card safe and submit the file to the "Document Submission Window" at the front of the exam area; Candidates who pass the exam can leave the exam area after signing under the guidance of the staff at the exit; Candidates who fail the exam should leave the exam area and wait for notification from their driving school staff regarding the retake time.
I just finished the written test (Subject 1). The video learning portion took me about two weeks, spending one to two hours daily watching videos, totaling approximately 20 hours. The video content mainly covered traffic rule explanations, sign recognition, and case studies, which was quite comprehensive though initially confusing, especially for beginners unfamiliar with driving regulations. My advice is to first watch all the videos once through, then reinforce memory by practicing questions; those with weaker foundations might need to invest more time, perhaps 25-30 hours for better preparedness. Don’t worry about slow progress—the key lies in understanding details to handle the test with ease. This approach not only helped me pass but also boosted my confidence in safe driving. Regularly reviewing difficult sections is crucial to avoid last-minute cramming.
