Subject one video review takes 3-7 working days. After passing the review, you will receive the corresponding study hours. Once the total study hours meet the requirements, you can schedule the exam. Subject one exam content: Basic knowledge of motor vehicles; laws, regulations and road traffic signals; basic knowledge of safe driving and civilized driving; basic knowledge related to motor vehicle driving operations. The subject one exam process is as follows: Follow the arrangement of the staff and receive your driving training file in order in the waiting area; Carry and present your ID card for review by the supervising police officer; Mobile phones must be turned off when entering the exam area; No loud noise is allowed in the exam area; Regulation textbooks are not allowed to be brought into the exam area (or put in the bag); After the exam, keep your ID card safe and hand in the file to the "Certificate Submission Window" at the front of the exam area; Candidates who pass the exam can leave the exam area after signing under the guidance of the staff at the exit; Candidates who fail the exam can leave the exam area and wait for the notice of the retake time from the staff of their driving school.
When I finished the subject 1 videos last year, the review was completed in less than a day, and the whole process went quite smoothly. Since I used an official driving test APP, the system automatically checked the video completion status. If done on weekdays, it usually goes even faster, but I've heard it might take up to two days during peak periods. For those learning to drive, I recommend checking if the video shows as 'completed' after watching, just in case it didn't load properly. While waiting, you might as well review traffic rule notes or prepare exam materials to save some time. The review is to ensure proper learning, which is crucial for exam fairness. I don't think there's a need to rush, as most people get processed quickly—just be patient. Different platforms may vary, so choosing a reputable APP is more reliable.
