How long does it take to pick up the car after inspection?

After inspecting a new car and completing the pickup procedures, you can take the car immediately. If you order a car from a 4S store and there is no stock available, it usually takes within half a month to pick up the car. If you pay in full and the car is in stock, you can pick it up within one day. Additional information: 1. Choose according to needs: Determine the car you want to buy based on your requirements. 2. Order and handover: If the car is in stock, you can inspect the vehicle and then pay the full amount to pick it up (pay and drive away, the 4S store will have a delivery ceremony). 3. Loan purchase: After paying the deposit, prepare the required loan documents and provide them to the 4S store. The 4S store will process the loan for you. Once the loan is approved, you pay the down payment. After the loan is disbursed, the 4S store will accompany you to register the car and hand over the insurance and vehicle registration certificate to the 4S store, then you can pick up the car and leave.
At the end of last year, I bought a new car and took delivery on the same day after the inspection. The dealer explained that the standard PDI check usually takes about one to two hours, and as long as no major issues are found, you can drive it away immediately. However, for used cars or vehicles after repairs, it might take longer because additional tests like brakes or emission systems need to be rechecked. I recommend scheduling an appointment in advance to avoid peak hours on weekends when the service centers are overcrowded, potentially making you wait half a day. Additionally, if the new car involves custom installations like window tinting or navigation upgrades, it's best to reserve a full day. The key is to carefully review the inspection report to ensure the engine and electronic systems are functioning properly, minimizing delays later. Winter pickups tend to be quicker, while summer, the peak season, is slower due to high demand and fewer staff.
