How long does it take to pick up a car after painting?

For small-area car painting, the vehicle can be picked up in 2 to 3 hours. If it's a large-area paint job, it will take at least 2 to 3 days. Before painting, the car body needs to be cleaned and sanded, and then the painting process can begin. After painting, the car needs to enter a paint baking room to dry the paint. Car painting refers to applying a layer of paint to the car's surface to protect it. Generally, baking paint is used for car painting. The paint on a car body consists of four layers, from the inside out: the electrophoretic layer, the primer layer, the color layer, and the clear coat layer, each with different functions. The main function of the electrophoretic layer is rust prevention, while the primer layer that follows also serves to prevent rust, but it has an additional function of improving adhesion to the color layer. Above the primer layer is the color layer, which primarily serves an aesthetic purpose. The car's color is basically presented by the color layer. The final layer is the clear coat layer, which protects the color layer and enhances the glossiness of the paint.
