How Long Does It Take to License a Motorcycle?

New motorcycles can be registered on the spot, and if the license plate needs to be manufactured, it usually takes within 15 working days to receive the plate. Motorcycle Licensing Process: Take the motorcycle to an inspection agency for evaluation. The owner must bring the "Motor Vehicle Safety Technical Inspection Report" issued by the inspection agency, the purchase invoice, vehicle certification, owner's ID card, the original motorcycle certification, and other required documents, along with the motorcycle, to the vehicle management office to apply for licensing. After approval, the vehicle will undergo an inspection. Once all procedures are completed, the owner can select a license plate number on the spot and receive the plate, vehicle registration certificate, and driving license. Licensing Considerations: Due to license plate manufacturing reasons, if the plate cannot be issued within the stipulated time, the vehicle management office should issue a temporary driving license plate valid for no more than 15 days.
